oK, I finally got new pics of the last batch of broody chicks. I am only putting up pics of the 2 that I believe to be silkie x silkie. They are the best of the 4
i think they are both hens.
The weird thing is that the first has the most fabulous foot and shank feathering I have seen, black skin, 5 toes, all the great qualities of a silkie, but no silkied feathers as they come in.........

This little one has good, not great foot and shank feathering, black skin, 5 toes, and is extremely fuzzy as the feathers come in.
What is going on here?

I am not posting pics of the other 2 as they are just like the last batch of mutts out of that pen. One is from a silkie egg, but I know the father is the mutt roo, and the 4th is from a mutt egg, and who knows which roo

Maybe you need to clean out cache/temp files.

Aww cute fluffies! Lunch break from cleaning. Got the moldy smell beat back and the cushions and mattresses out sunning and the air conditioner humming in the camper.
