Chat room for non religious poultry keepers! :D

I’m listening to music which is helping a little butttt
Do you like to sing along? Maybe dance too? Singing is GREAT for the body and the brain. Ditto with dancing.

Dance like no one is watching! Sing like no one is listening!

When I do the boring stuff in the garden, ie, weeding, I take my MP3 player and sing along. Belt it out! I get choked up on the sad songs, but I keep on singing! If it makes you feel, it's worth it.

(Aside: My mom LOVED Jim Nabors -- yes, Gomer Pyle -- and had several of his records. The guy had an awesome baritone voice. I have two songs from one of his albums on my MP3, and I get teary-eyed when I sing along. The song 100 Years by Five for Fighting makes me tear up. So does Thankful by Beth Hart. I don't care if anyone hears my voice crack. Don't care if any can hear me, period. I'm gonna sing, and that's that.)

Afterward, I feel very... alive. Strong and energized, in the very best way.

I love 100 Years! That’s such a good song!

But I’m always embarrassed to sing and dance lol but I’m gonna start ❤️🥰

Ditto. I won't dance when people are around, but when I'm alone it's like I run a nightclub. Music pounds, I'm dancing, may or may not be drinks (nonalcoholic though) involved
