The fact that tou are getting freezes and snow this early is baffling to me. It's nighttime here and I'm sitting at 20°C. Hugs to all you cold peeps

Usually we've had several freezes by now, but it's been pretty mild compared to usual here. I actually had to throw on a jacket yesterday for chicken chores.

According to some other people on here, shes okay, but I don't know if she told them the same stuff she said here, and that was also a couple days ago now

I was wondering about her as well, especially as quiet as the thread had been this past weekend. Hopefully she's just keeping herself busy.

I need someone to come over here and cut me off from the Halloween candy

I gave my chickens another pumpkin today. I carved the skin off some 2" diameter spots. They were through to the cavity in about an hour.

The first one is reduced to a piece of skin about the size of my hand.

My chickens made holes in theirs, seemingly stuck their heads into said holes, and cleaned out the pumpkin. The shell was left completely intact, but its innards were gone.

Just remember: The faster you eat the candy, the faster it is gone. This can either be an encouragement to slow down and enjoy some later, or to eat it all now so you do not have to worry about eating more tomorrow.
