Those look neat! I take it you're wanting to breed the shrimp? I've always found aquariums relaxing, though I've never really had one, myself. Well, unless you count the goldfish I had as a kid. I'll bet Casper would love for me to get one, though!

Thanks, they'll need it! I'm telling you, it was definitely Lady Gaga's idea. I catch him flying up onto the ledge to check on Cruella quite often, but she isn't too pleased and growls at him. Thankfully he respects it. Although I'm sure Cruella isn't mad about the new spot, she now doesn't have to stress about Ursula coming in and ruining everything. Yesterday I placed a THICK layer of hay on the ground, so hopefully they fall on the fluffy, soft surface, and not the hard ground

. As for the shrimp, yes I'd like to breed them. I've tried to in three separate occasions, but to be fair it wasn't so smart, as they were in with a betta. You should definitely get an aquarium. The dog tried to eat the first betta, but quickly learned he is unreachable

I think the aquarium will have to be added to the future to-get list for me, along with those lithops. Next few years are probably going to be pretty busy for me. But some day.

I'm sure they're thanking you! They're probably saying "our teen dad chose a nest 10 times his height, 30 times our height, and our supposedly experienced mom thought it was a very sane decision to brood here. Even the humans pity us more than our parents". And yup! Historically, I've had to put together the nest every morning or so, because Ursula will tear it up in search of food. She goes ballistic for hay. But this time, it's still there! Don't know how, but I'm seriously hoping it stays that way.





Hope one day you get both lithops and an aquarium, both are amazing!

I'll go to one of the Symphony concerts. My friend "Judy who plays in the Symphony" will probably be able to take me backstage.

I really want to tell him how much I appreciate his influence in my life. He's the one who introduced me to Buddhism and other Eastern thought, and he was always very kind.

I try to hold on to memories of people who have been kind to me.

I will probably end up being like a nervous first-time mother with them and ask you a million-billion questions about them--so be ready for that, I guess. Maybe same with an aquarium, I have no idea what I'm doing with that either. Actually, outside of the chickens I pretty much don't have any idea what I'm doing.

I'd rather you ask a million questions and keep the thing alive, than wing it and have it dead in a month, like some people do. You'll do great! And thankfully, there are also many resources on aquariums these days, so it's hard to do them wrong!
