Today I went to hear a concert featuring the guy I took flute lessons with 40 (!) years ago. This is his last season with the Grand Rapids Symphony. I really wanted to say hi to him after the concert, but he'd already left.

He and a harpist played Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp. Lovely, lovely piece.

I remember when my harp teacher was working on that piece and played a section of it for me at the end of one of my lessons. I always was in awe at her ability. Somehow after 8 years of playing I still never felt like I could ever play at that capacity. It is a beautiful piece. Sorry you missed saying hi to him afterward!

I keep losing threads in general, no worries there. I have a very bad habit of clicking to read posts and then telling myself I'll reply later and... Yeah, that just never happens.

Any plans this weekend, Fluffy? I sold a pair of my silkied Cochins today (and treated myself to ice cream afterward because letting these babies go is hard), but don't really have anything else planned for the weekend, myself. I should probably get some housework done, but... I just don't want to.

She's still going! Candled two eggs, both had veins. Felt at least one or two more under there. As for the aquatic life, probably 4 more chilli rasbora,and I don't know how many more yellow cherry shrimp. I have six in there, but they're all male

for another successful hatch from Cruella! And also for them reaching the ground without issue since their mother has fallen off her rocker with that nest spot.

Those look neat! I take it you're wanting to breed the shrimp? I've always found aquariums relaxing, though I've never really had one, myself. Well, unless you count the goldfish I had as a kid. I'll bet Casper would love for me to get one, though!
