I have no idea how to answer that. For me the question is why are you (or anyone else) religious?

I am religious. I just do not share any of your religion. I have yet to find even one person on here that shares my religion.

It's interesting how whenever there is a non-religious / atheist discussion board, we always have to "explain" ourselves. I would never think to go to a christian/religious board and do the same thing. I leave them be.

I'm not saying there's always ill intention with these sorts of questions, by the way. It just feels constant, which can be frustrating.

And to go on a tangent since I'm already commenting, what sense does it make to bring up religious questions on a board that is specifically for non-religious users? I can only speak for myself, but that defeats the whole point of the thread.

Agree.
Maybe the thread should be named ‘religion free zone’ so it describes the nature of the chat and isn’t focused on the beliefs of the participants.

This was asked toward the beginning of the thread and several of us answered on page 24 if you are genuinely curious. However,

I strongly agree with this post. But this again is a topic I don't believe this thread is meant for, so I won't be engaging in it beyond this post, either.

That would be ideal. I would even be happy with some sort of rule on this thread that addresses non-intentional trolling.
