They're a very fun little bunch. The eggs are SUPPOSED to be Ursula's eggs she's brooding, but as you can see that wasn't too successful. Yeah she kicked all the straw out, then abandoned the eggs and is now fully co-mothering Cruella's chicks. Classic Ursula

Ah, I thought those eggs had that sort of sheen to them like they'd been sat on by a hen for a bit! Hopefully Ursula learns a lot from co-mothering with Cruella! :fl
 
Never heard about that sheen before, do tell!

Oh, it's not anything big, I'd just noticed with all the broodies I had this year that the eggs underneath them usually got that sort of glossy sheen to them after a week or two of being sat on, even if they were dull or not shiny at all before they were brooded. I think it's just mama's feather oils coating them as she turns them and keeps them close to her, but that's purely speculation on my part!

Lunch was grilled cheese and tomato soup with MILK not water LOL and Colby Jack cheese although next time I'm gonna go back to American or cheddar cause the Colby Jack was soooo stringy/chewy LOL but still good!!!

Also I'm cooking again right now. Cooking some hamburger for walking tacos later lol
