Chat Room Scares Me!

A kit if chats are topic run, here it seems to be 10 differant conversations going on at once....the fact that names seem to be color coded certainly helps keeping up!

You can always just go and lurk...meaning just watch what everybody else says.

Don't worry if you can't immediately master the art of carrying on 5 different conversations on 4 subjects with 13 different people!

It takes practice.

Eventually, you get the hang of it. I used to give up on chat rooms becasue everybody was talking about different things and if I wanted to say something, I couldn't type fast enough. Now, I can multi-task with the best of them!

Personally, I really like online chat, but cannot seem to find this chat room! Could someone please tell me where it is? I checked the "social" topics, but didn't find it there. I'm a newcomer and am not yet familiar with all the available features here. thanks in advance for someone's help!

Well I am old, and thought it was just my age that i didn't like chat rooms, glad to hear some one younger doesn't either, now i don't feel so overwhelmed marrie
