Hi! I'm looking at getting some BCM hatching eggs from @ladycat. Have any of you gotten eggs from her? Were they good and DARK? Were they packaged well? I think I'm settled on getting some from her but I'd love to know what others' experience was.

I got her olive eggers batch. The packing was amazing. Not a single cracked or broken eggs. Even though the post office kept my eggs over a weekend, I had 9 hatch. These gray ones are my favorite!

I've gotten several shipments from ladycat. Always exceptional packaging. I've only gotten a few BCMs from her but the ones I did were very dark. Mostly I like the other colors of marans and their eggs aren't usually ever as dark. Can't say enough about her, her eggs and her packaging.

Sorry, Tammy... didn't mean to keep you waiting... this morn I made a safe hole for that rocking one from yesterday, it is the smallest egg and it was jammed into the air cell and couldn't pip... a little bit ago I opened it up more as membrane was stuck to his eye... yolk hasn't absorbed, so he is sitting propped in a glass in incubator... took a couple drops of vitamin water and is resting comfortable...

One other egg is now pipped... just waiting now... humidity staying stable...

Haven't gotten any of her Marans, but she has amazing quality birds... packs really, really well and is a pleasure to know and to buy from... I highly recommend her...

Not yet... you think I should? I'm kinda scared to shrinkwrap them... and after messing up days I wasn't sure if I should wait or not???

I would give it another day. If no more pips by morning I would. Just do a couple to see if you see anything and then close it back up so you don't lose too much humidity. Mist a little if you need to raise it back up quickly
