@DwayneNLiz It could be your choice, eggs are collected each day, I have nothing over a week old, we eat the oldest or sell them local as eating eggs, and they will be cleaned and wrapped for shipping.

@GardenWren My eggs are day 14! Hatch day next week. Candled tonight and all appear to be progressing! Wonky loose air cells SEEM to maybe have stabilized. Still a few really weird shapes. Lowered my humidity a tad as some of the air cells don't seem to have changed a lot. Some have and are quite large. Humidity is now at 37% vs 42%. Lockdown is Monday- I can't believe it's so close!!!

I try not to, if one is extra dirty ill toss it with eating eggs, mostly i just try to spot clean or wipe dirty spots off with a damp paper towel

Would anyone be interested in any silkie mix eggs?

I have a silkie rooster and an empty breeding pen!

My silkie rooster is just a pure white, and my hens are Barred rock, Polish, Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, Wellsummers, Black copper Marans, Splash Marans, blue copper Marans, Leghorns, Naked necks, Rhode Island Red, And a whole bunch of crosses

If any interest, I will list an auction, and the winner can pick out the hens they want mixed with the silkie, and I will put them in the breeding pen.

Are those females with other males?? Because it will take a good 3 weeks before you could be sure that the silkie fertilizes the eggs.
