Cheap Chinese incubator. Is it worth it??

That’s good. Why do you prefer a sponge over a cup of water. Do you not find the sponge drys out quickly?

I don't have room for a cup of water but I did try a dish of water under the lowest rack and the humidity was just too high. I laid a sponge under the hole at the top of the bator where I can drip water in. If the humidity got to low I'd just drip some water in to raise the humidity. But the sponge seemed to hold the water well and keep the humidity stable so I just went with that.

buy a cheap one, and then another kind of cheap one, and keep doing that until you realize that you have spent enough money that you could have bought a good one..

I would get the Styrofoam ones. theyre good at keeping temps and some are pretty cheap

So got my eggs in the incubator. I’m wad struggling to keep the humidity at 40-50. It wanted to sit at 70% with water in the bottom so I put in just a tiny bit of water in a cup but it then sat at 20%. So I put in a wet cloth and That’s working very well. I’ll keep everyone posted
