Thanks for the recommendation. I'm a bit sick of the folks that say "unless you take your birds to the vet 2x/yr, feed them better than you feed yourself, and have a cage the size of Western Montana, you shouldn't own birds".

Toads are stupid. Many a times have I gone outside at night and almost stepped on one because they don't move.

That's not dumb. It's a defense mechanism. Small animals that can easily be eaten often freeze to escape detection. It's not their fault you self-righteously clomp around at night while they are busy eating bugs in your yard.
