There is another farm in Cumberland County, TN, that has all sorts of big game like that- from Elk to alpacas. They have 8ft fences around most of the place- it's huge. As far as I know they raise them to sell to hunters( not the camelids obviously).

People here hunt them. Supposedly they are around in our neighborhood, but I've never seen them. We have seen numerous herds of them on hikes and on drives. Watching the males fight is an amazing sight, they are very powerful animals.

Neat! Thanks for telling me! They are pretty shy, not like the deer. I am dying to set up a night cam just to see what we have around here, I'm sure it would be mostly deer and raccoons, but it would still be fun. Or maybe it would just freak me out to step outside at night anymore
