Are these meat birds? Arent they supposed to end up in the freezer not start out there?

yes it is an old freezer the chicks are black australorp an 2 ducks.

My husband was just saying that an old freezer like the one we have would be a great brooder. I've been looking for one that size to store horse feed in (keeps sweet feed nice and cool in the summer), so it'd go to that first - but yeah, it was something we were looking for! Great find! Oh, and my 'Lorps aren't that black... Hmmm... Are their bellies white/yellow?
