Thanks, all! The purple spots are, indeed, impressive. They're even raised. It's a braille egg! Tallulah has always been a "high creative"; her eggs ore bi-coloured...a different colour at one end than the other. And it's not always the same. Sometimes the big end is darker, sometimes the pointy end.

My girls will be having this egg for breakfast tomorrow...I'll let you know what's inside!

The "great" egg. However, in celebration I would be eating that egg for breakfast. My chickens get lots of other treats. The eggs are for me!!

Seriously though you should blow that egg out and keep the shell for a nice conversation piece.
