This is Honey. She is 20 weeks old today and an absolute sweetheart

She also lays GIANT palm-sized "ostrich" eggs as we call them. Do comb and wattle size have anything to do with egg size??

No idea on the influence of comb size on egg size sorry...

That is a BEAUTIFUL Delaware Hen. I have one with a huge comb like that, and she doesnt lay too large of an egg, so I dont think it has anything to do with it. If you hold her and feel the space between her pubic bone, it would be large if she lays a large egg. I dont think the comb has anything to do with it:P

She is beautiful!!!!! And posing for her glamour shots....

I've never heard that comb/wattle size have anything to do with egg size. I only "know" that firs eggs are mostly smaller and as the hen ages eggs get bigger but frequency less....But I don't think chickens read the textbooks all that much....everyone is different

She's absolutely gorgeous!! And she KNOWS it!!

I have a White Rock hen with such large comb and wattles that the comb falls over. LOL

What a diva! She's absolutely beautiful! Mine look so ratty in comparison, but they get shagged regularly by boys with muddy feet...

OMG she's stunning! Can't help with your question but now you've caused me to think maybe 5 new chicks isn't enough....maybe I could add just one more breed to my selection.
