I didn't realize I didn't have a good picture of the hen. These pictures were taken after I had been to Bren's this last fall. I will have to take some pictures of my hen!! Just in case anyone wants to know what is in their food, it is fish oil and probiotics I added after a 10 hour drive home from Brens.

That Boy has a nice crest!!! I hope my baby has a big crest like that. I am thinking he will, but you never really know until they grow up. He is a pretty boy. He has really nice foot feathering too. Can't see the hen real good, but she looks really pretty. 10 hours

I thought I had a long drive. I'm only about 2 hrs and 20 minutes from her.

Shagbark Silkies are nice people, reputable breeders/sellers. They have nice birds.

If I ever get into Lavs I hope to get them from Bren or Deb.

I no that Alan is in Eaton but none of his birds are kept at his place. I have talked to him before and his wife doesn't let him keep
them there or something like like. I don't really no what the deal is with that.
So you all are saying that bren or deb would be better than shagbark??? I no that someone told me she just got some birds
from someone in Texas but I didn't no who. Now I no. LOL!!

Wow, lucky you! His flock is Gorgeous. Hopefully your photography skills can do them justice. Lookin' good so far. Maybe one day I can get some eggs from them? My hubby's son lives in Manassas. We visit when we can. Let me know if that is a possibility. If so PM me w/price per dozen (Splash eggs).
