    i have a rosecomb hen that is hiding her eggs under shavings,,,when i go in there are eggs, then there arent and she is in a corner,,,i go back ..no eggs,... ??? check under shavings....its like she is hiding them so i wont stop her,,,,lol

    Yes, nice and clean unlike the ones I found today under the rhododendron bush next to the foundation of my house. [​IMG]

    We have one hen at the stables that lays in a small aluminum trash can half full of old pieces of tack.
    ANd one of the favorite spots is the big feed bin. I guess the sweet feed holds the heat and if we don't put the lid back on right away, we will come back to find a cuple eggs in it!

    She finally got out and I found 3 eggs in there! One was buried out of sight!
