@humblehillsfarm - How is her beak doing? Did you happen to find out what caused the hole? I just noticed a similar hole on my 18 week old pullet.

As crazy as the hole looked, I do realize now that it was from her rubbing her face into the fence. Just like your fingernail can separate from the bed, I believe her comb separated from her beak. It healed in a couple of weeks. Broody girl went back to broodyhood and I gave her ten babies so she’s happy now.@humblehillsfarm - How is her beak doing?
