Checked under my hen's belly.... (graphic)

I had recently given away a rooster and the rooster died within a couple hours of being adopted. So I started to check the other chickens and one rooster and one hen look like this.... Are they sick?

I don't know what this is offhand, but have you checked them for mites or lice? If not, look all around the skin on their vent area, in their wing "pits" etc to see if you see mites or lice eggs. Are they laying on the ground in mucky/dirty conditions?

Anyone else have other ideas?

Just went out again and checked, no sign of mites but the hen has diarrhea. I don't know if it might have to do with how much water they are drinking? Its near 100 degrees here.
