Checking for fertility?

Our eggs are incubated through spring and summer to verify fertility and hatchability at home. We offer excess eggs up for sale, which are collected fresh for the buyer (typically in 1-2 days for shipping).

During times we are not incubating, we crack them open to ensure fertility resumes before offering eggs to others.

They dont do that. They can not incubate eggs for 4-7 days and then stop the incubation process and sell those eggs. The eggs that are sold are never incubated, and held for at most 3 days before shipping.

Oops!

But how could you sell the eggs if you cracked them open???

I think 77 is right. I once bought cochin eggs that had been incubated for 3 days to determine fertility before being shipped to me...best hatch I ever had! Does anyone else have experience with this? I have heard about it from a couple sources. I'd like to do it with my shipping eggs.
