Checking Gender...by Wings?

I've been told by many people there is a way to be able to tell the gender of a chick by looking at their wing feathers, but only when they are a few days old.

I've heard it's not foolproof but I still wanted to try it out for myself, how do you do it?

Is it how the feathers look or how they're arranged?

There are many great links on here about that subject and they all say that it only works if the chicks are breed for it,just any ol breed won't work.
