Hi! Life is busy! My son got married in March. I had my grandbabies for a week. We rescued 3 pot belly piggers. 2 were not in good shape. I thought we might lose one of them she was so emaciated, but she bounced back and is healthy and livin' life. Now that it is summer in TX I am trying to keep the chickens cool and alive until fall. There is never a dull moment. I also got a hankerin' for add a couple turkeys. We will see.

Hi! Since signing up for Backyard Chickens, I had a traumatic predator event... I live in the foothills outside of Yosemite National Park, so I think you can guess what... and didn't have the heart to post anything. For years.

But right now, I have a new, healthy flock, and an electric fence packing one heckuva punch. Cross your fingers for me!

Hello, like most people on here I've also been busy, but as of right now I have 2, 8 week old chicks. And I finally got some naked neck chickens!! I have been trying to get naked neck chickens for ages ! I currently have 30... something chickens , 5 ducks and 2 guinea fowl.. but who's counting
