Hello all! I am still active, but sometimes don't sign in when researching! What have I been up too? Well, this is my first year of hatching my own babies from MY babies. Trying to establish a strong marans line, olive egger and easter egger line! Here's some pics from this year so far.

That is exciting! Hatching from your flock is very satisfying.

I have three pips!

These are finally the very first three chicks from my favorite hen, Sydney, and our very fancy rooster. I sure hope they all make it! I have four more set to hatch a week later, and then ten I just started for 4 th of July.

We have such a vibrant community here at BYC... tons of active friendly members. Of course, life gets busy, so I was thinking it would be fun to start a thread welcoming some of our peeps we haven't heard from in a while.

Been busy with work and the Ducks are keeping my quite busy too!
Ammy has her new feathers coming through, so she's being very standoffish. Trying my best not to be offended.
It's very cold here, as it's the middle of Winter.
