It is nice to see you back!Hi everyone.
Have not posted for a while. My flock of 8 was slowing down so I re-homed them to a homesteader back around Christmas. I was also recovering from surgery and didn't want to have to deal with the chickens in the winter.
Since then I have been raising 11 new chicks, a mixture of barred rock, rhode island reds, rhode island blues and one yellow legbar. They should begin laying in about a month or so. Looking forward to fresh eggs again!
It sounds like the surgery went well too! Enjoy the new flock and those nice fresh eggs.
