How's life been? Hopefully good for all the BYC peeps! It's been a hot minute since I've been on here. When you add children to your life, it sure goes by fast...here is a little recap on things on the farm!
1 Yr ago today my last riding horse severed his extensor tendon in his hind leg. It's been a long road to recovery. But we took our first ride since that happen yesterday! It was fabulous. For missing a tendon. He did fantastic!! So thankful for that!!
We are up to 13 nigerian dwarfs goats! Me and my kids have been showing them a bunch at local ADGA sanctioned shows! It's been a fun time with my kids!
We still have my lovely old rooster Falkor, he is going to be 7 this spring! I also have my OG Blondie who will be 7 also this spring! Besides the 2 original gangsters. We have a bunch of oddball chicken. Langshans, EE, and a flock of cochin bantams. I took on a tiny bantam rooster who is looking rough. But currently on quarantine attempting to get back on the mend. If he survives this ordeal, him and his hen can reside in my buck pen and help with bug control. Eventually when I get a coop done, they will be garden chicken.
Hope everyone had fantastic summer!
