Wow, it's been awhile! I recently lost one of my Sapphire Gems- not sure from what. Did not take her anywhere to find out. I have one Sapphire Gem left who is 3 years old and an Easter Egger who is 6 years old. Only the EE layed eggs this year, until the one Sapphire Gem died- now the other Sapphire Gem has started laying! I have had 3 eggs in the past 2 weeks. I'm thinking she was bullied, but I would love to hear other ideas from more experienced farmers/owners of BYC.
