That is so awesome. I love that other people kiss their birds. Once in a while when I get my hands on my tiny finches, I soak them with kisses and it's such a wonderful feeling.

I don't often get the opportunity, but when one of my huggers is in the mood, I get some nice quality time. Today, Elf let me pet her back and touch my forehead to hers. My ducks have a nice aroma, a little bit like earth, a little bit like fresh feed, and a tiny bit like egg white.

THAT'S the smell! I've been trying to pinpoint what duck smell reminded me of but I just couldn't put it into words!

THAT'S the smell! I've been trying to pinpoint what duck smell reminded me of but I just couldn't put it into words!

Even my tiny finches smell earthy and when I kiss them I can smell them. Pretty incredible for a 13 gram birdie.

Kathy, where did you find that? 13g. Wow. right on the mark with an average zebra finch. and believe it or not when my two are out of the cage zipping around, they are terrors. LOVE THEM. Thanks for posting this.
