Please do see if any of the feed stores will take them. You can post on craig's list but, some responders can be downright scary- I don't think it's worth that stress.
To be frank, it's a buyers market with roosters. There are just too many roosters everywhere that have to be rehomed due to HOA or town ordinances. You can even find show quality roosters for next to nothing on the Buy-sell-trade forum here.
Even buying 'sexed' chickens - too many people end up with pullets morphing into cockerels. It's really sad for the boys and sad for the owners. I wish I could think of more options for you.
