Super easy and super good! The chicken comes out very tender.
Preheat oven to 350-375
Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray
Cheezits
Sour Cream
Chicken Breasts or Tenders
Melted Butter
Crush Cheezits - I use my food processor and crush about 2 cups at first, then do more as needed. Put the crumbs in a bowl for coating chicken.
Take a chicken breast or tender, spread a relatively thin layer of sour cream on one side, then flip it over into the bowl of crumbs so that the sour cream side is on the bottom. Spread sour cream on the top side and turn the chicken over to coat both sides. You will probably have to use your hands to smoosh the crumbs into the sour cream. Place the chicken in the baking dish. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the chicken. I probably use 1/2 cup of butter over 4 chicken breasts.
Bake for about 45-55 minutes or until done.
Note: When I use breasts I cut them so that I have 2 thinner pieces. Tenders are easier!!!
