Really? She doesn't look like it at all! She's very pretty, since you know sillies, what's the percentage of getting a female chick to a male chick? I'm getting 4 silkie chicks in February.

I actually got Lily as a 6 month old so I have no clue what the percentage is. Sorry!

I only have one

Haha, well luckily I have a great hatchery that I get all of my babies from and they have some pretty cool breeds! They have some rare breeds, and a lot of bantam breeds! They are called chickens for backyards hatchery and aren't that popular. Yes they are like bantams except a tiny bit bigger. I am getting a splash silkie, I'm also getting a black, buff, and white silkie. :) I'm hoping that I will get 3 girls and 1 roo so I can breed them. They can't sex the silkies, that's the downfall. Other than that they are a great hatchery!
Thank you! So where did you get your silkie? What other breeds do you have in your flock? :)

We get most of our hens from our friends, they breed rare or special breeds. (thats where we got Lily) Our chicks we just get from Frey's hatchery. We once got 5 chicks from our friends but 4 of them were boys so we had to give them back, so thats why we now get our chicks from Frey's and hens that we KNOW are hens from our friends

Cool breeds! I'm trying to incubate some chicks for some of our friends, but I have to get these chicks first before I can get enough eggs to do so.
Right now In my flock I have 3 Kockoo Maroons, salmon Favorelle, Easter Egger, 2 lavendar Cochins, buff Orpington, and golden laced wayndotte mix.
Then I will be adding 4 silkies, and 13 other breeds, that I have ordered. (Can't name em all to many)
