i have a mix hen .. who is colored up really cool but she has yellow legs and a single comb .. =/
i know i have ameracaunas who lay the blue eggs ..
the australop .. is only 16 weeks old .. thats the first egg i found that color .. and its the same size as the blue eggs from my ameracaunas who have been laying for 3 weeks now .. =/ so ... i know its not from her ..
i was figuring the buffs and dom were laying the light brown eggs ... ( one is kinda speckledy .. im guessing thats the doms .. )
the silkie ... shes smaller than my banty roos .. who are tiny .. so .. no way it came out of her .. and shes 16 weeks old as well .. so .. cant be her .. =/
i was figuring the cochins wouldnt lay for at least a few days .. and wouldnt think theyd lay the red one next to the blue one .. ( those two dont leave the coop .. =/ ) the egg was in the concrete shed lol .. ( maybe 30 feet away from the coop its actually a storm shelter .. the girls like it in their cuz thats where i store the feed and its cool throughout the day .. )
