Alok nodded. "Well, kept waking up because of that jumpy kid on first watch and that kid on third watch, other than that, I didn't sleep horribly." It was not too much of a lie, he told himself. Yes, this time his dreams had been bad but not like his other dreams, not frighteningly horrible. She nickered as he approached, then bent down and scratched her face on her leg. "I slept okay." She lied, "It takes a while to get used to being on the road again." Like being woken at midnight because the kid on third watch saw a squirrel and thought it an orc. She lifted her head and shook her fetlock. "How did you sleep?"
Grervyn just gave him a penetrating gaze. "You don't tell nobody and I'll help you with anything," she said with clenched teeth. Her slender tongue wasn't locked in her mouth with frustration, it was actually that a few gemstones happened to be hidden under it.Wordlessly, he flicked his tail and wrapped it around the vase she carried. "No, madam," he said, and lifted it into the air, "let me help you. With this... lovely trinket." He purred, "Where did you get it, hmm?"

Daz had been up before the sun, like she was every day. It was the only time of day she actually enjoyed cooking. The cool night air on her neck while the glowing embers heated her cheeks. She had managed to get all the biscuits cooked for the day. And was now stirring a large pot of boiling vegetables that would be their breakfast.
She banged off the wooden spoon on the edge of the pot and set it to the side so it didnt slip below the surface.
No one had better complain she thought to herself. It wasnt her fault there were no good vegetables this time of year.
"They woke you, too? Oh, dear, I'm sorry to hear that." She sighed, and started off down the hill, towards Dazorn's stew pot, where a crowd was already gathering. "You sleep so little as it is." She whispered.Alok nodded. "Well, kept waking up because of that jumpy kid on first watch and that kid on third watch, other than that, I didn't sleep horribly." Heath's face jumped almost involuntarily at the thought. Disgusting. Still, he found himself lowering the vase. Pawns could be useful too, when no one expects anything of them. "I'll take that wager." He cooed.Grervyn just gave him a penetrating gaze. "You don't tell nobody and I'll help you with anything," she said with clenched teeth.
