Chic Chick 'Bator *UPDATED*

I will wire this bator separately. My old Dinobator was wired when I got it to where the fan starts and stops with the heating element starts and stops.

Ms. P I can see how your bottle lamp is wired to but I cant see what is wired where.

Yah me too AK!! No Spray on Tan, No Flamingo Duct Tape!! LOL

*I hear voices... all they do is cluck ..*

Here is my latest "chic bator". I think it's a cadillac and I LOVE it. Temp and humidity stay soooo stable. I had a hatch last night...(only 1 chick out of 3, sadly) and I've disinfected it, put it back together and put 36 eggs in it that I have had in a small bator. They are on day 15 so I'll stop turning and crank up the humidity next Tuesday for July 4th babies!!

Thats a great looking bator. Looks like it might hold 5 dozen eggs. Also the side pocket door is a great invention, makes getting to the eggs and such alot more easy without opening up the complete top. I can see where you dont lose alot of the humidity.

Actually it will hold a lot more than that. There is a second shelf below the top shelf that will hold about 5 dozen as well. I will NEVER have that many at a time, but I know some people do.

It's a standard 48 quart Rubbermaid...not too big. It fits right up along the wall in my home office and the small one is right beside it.

Didn't someone post drawings? What they did wrong the first time, and how it's supposed to be done?
A few pages back... I saved it... maybe I have it...yep... here it is...

I don't remember who posted it, but it was perfect!!

AK thank you! I get so confused. I remember seeing that one somewhere on the site. You have to remember I am male and get confused on a regular bases.

That helps a heap!

Im sorry Ms Prissy the problem is the bottle lamp kit I bought doesnt have "ribbed" wires they are all smooth. So its hard to tell which wire is which since it isnt "ribbed"

That cooler is a super duper idea - nice job!
