Chic Chick 'Bator *UPDATED*

Will a GQF hovabator egg turner fit in this? i wonder? what are the Dem. of everything? if it fits you could stack them 4-6 high making the bator able to hold up to 160+ eggs

redchicken,i just bought a kit at lowes for $7.00,it's item #42925 model 887L. first i asked where they were and a guy said we don't have them, but i found it on my own.so don't ask just look.it happens alot there.
i am in the process of building one too,i have all the parts.my biggest concern is placement inside the cooler.i'm really not sure what would be the best place for the components.i don't want to drill holes in the cooler to find i may have to move them.it sounds as if alot of people on here are making their own.miss prissy really started something here(hatching fever).
if anybody has advise for the best placement of parts i'm open for suggestions. thanks will

Look at the photos, will. You can use the search and look at the placement in alot of others.

But honestly, these things have to be tweaked. My humidity and room temps are different than your. You have to find the combo that works for you. Same as the watt of the bulbs.

I know we are! We finished building ours about an hour ago following your plans. Not counting the trip to town for a thermostat it only took us about 1 hour.

Total spent $15 + a raid on my spare parts bin. Have it warming up right now to check temps.

Only had to make one design change, had to use old fashioned grey duct tape.
