Broody mamas are great at their job. They even turn the eggs. They do go and get water and food and poop a BIG ol turd.

Well between her and the other 2, the killed 6 eggs. I found one at the other end of the coop.

I took the remaining 6 brought them inside. Ordered an incubator. I expected a couple to be destroyed… she’s full of egg…

I am so sorry. Unfortunately not all broodies or hens make good mommas.
