Thats because the wives are sooo busy at the swap they do not notice or care what DH's are doing/buying.

LOL yes and I have seen it go the other way also.

One Lady I happpened upon was buying a trailer to bring to the next swaps, so it does go both ways, not sure where or if there was a husband but she was determined to have one of those tow trailers.

that wouldnt have been you was it gypsy, buying a trailer!!

That Houdan is just the cutest little thing, I think its a pullet( fingers crossed) its in with the newly hatched out babys from this afternoon, now I have to wait for one more to dry off so the other 3 can go in the brooder.

Isnt Topper just the cutest little stinker, so much personality, does he/she know it has legs yet? cassi rarely let it walk around on its own, she lugged that thing all over the place.

I hated making her give it up and she wouldnt think of letting anyone else have it, it was you or no one, and I dont have the place for ducks and geese, I love hatching them out but being right on a river that leads straight down town , not good planning.

I am waiting for a hatch of Call Ducks from Sundown Water fowl to hatch. ( again with the finger crossing thing) I have waited all spring to be able to secure eggs from this breeder.

No it isnt the arm/ hand thing with the trailer , its an eye to road coordination thingy, ( we wont go into how many curbs I jumped off of when driving the pickup for the first 3 weeks) And we wont discuss that wide load front end on the Tahoe.
I wasnt used to driving a full sized pick up, only the shorter S10 style. so it was rather hysterical untill I took out 3 sets of Tie rods and 2 sets of rear rims LOL.
to say Hubby wasnt impressed is a mild understatement.

some interesting info for you all

i have a (well many) styro incubators and i have a cabinet incubator. we lost power for 6-7 hrs earlier this week. i had some silkie eggs in there! we all know how important they are!!

well, 19th was a hatch day for my eggs and the 21st was the maine egg hatch date. styrofoam incubator with the 19th eggs in it hatched 2 days late, the cabinet is right on time date 21 silkies are hatching!!
