. i am grateful to have had the time away and his help; but really, a little bit more than just feeding would have been nice.

Wow!! So sorry to hear about everyone's problems

Wendy that is so sad.

Hope everyone was still able to have a good 4th. Ours went well even though I had to work. At least with my job I was still able to meet family at the parade and they came to the home where I work for a B-Q. So it was pretty nice. Went to fireworks too.

Wish every one well with the little feathered critters, this weather has really stressed them.

Oh that is good.
Sorry about the horible week you had.

thanks shay.

Chickn- sorry to hear about your troubles! I hate to go away for any length of time. (two days is about max).

[My chickens were fine, but I worry every year about our horses. We live in a very developed area and some fool always is shooting up over our paddocks so each year I have to go find them and get them to move elsewhere. There are two town open fields/parks on the other side of our small wooded areas on two sides of our place and people think it's the place to shoot off those loud ones that buzz overhead and bang.
