Well, I got the 2 cutest little Showgirl chicks EVER.

and also 2 silkie chicks. Hubby even saw them (tried to hide them, didn't work!) and said they were pretty cute. I think he was just happy I didn't leave the yard with the horse trailer empty. LOL.
Had a great time, I enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone.

Chichester, NH Chicken Swap was my wife Michelle's & I first ever chicken swap.

We not only had a scenic ride through NH but getting to the Tractor Supply Co. store filled us with anxiety to run out there and look for all the great bargains.

I took some photo's of the swap and I was very disappointed to learn half the photo's I took didn't come out. I was using a very old digital 2.0 camera that you could not see the screen in direct sunlight so it was point and shoot through the tiny view finder.

This is the TSC store in Chicester, NH

Time to park the car and get moving down the aisles.

There was a lot to see even for a small swap.

Our first stop was to find shay20 and swap the sugar gliders for some
beautiful polish, cochin, bantam & a surprise she put into the deal.

We were happy and I hope shay20 is enjoying her new sugar gliders.

That's Michelle showing shay the sugar gliders.

Some more vendors at the swap with some great merchandise. It was wonderful to see all the people there and what they had to offer.

At this spot Michelle bought a partridge silkie and a silkie/orpington cross.

There were gees, ducks, guinea fowl, dove's, beautiful Alaskan malamute puppies and all sorts of homemade crafts.

Michelle found another deal here for another partridge silkie.

VNSeed was there with a nice selection of flower/vegetable/herb seeds

This one is for the guys. Our boy toys on display and to drool over.

TSC store was a gracious host for the chicken swap and the 4h club put on a nice feed area with some delicious goodies.

I wish the rest of the photos came out because I had everybody's picture.

We met some wonderful people from the forum, chickn, shay20, 1chickmagnet & vnseed. We had a great time talking to everybody and walking around the TSC store where I bought a great looking straw cowboy hat.

We have our new baby chicks settled in and they are eating everything in site.

By the way Michelle has the chicks in our bedroom, there goes my sleep ..... Oh well at least she's happy.

Time to grow some more money and look for the next swap.

My daughter loved those sugar gliders or as she put it "they look like a flying squirrel" happily she didn't beg for me to go find her one after we left. Was great to meet even more people and some more I will see at some point tomorrow.

I was so glad that I finally made it to a swap, and very glad I met some fellow BYC's.
Thank you to Shay and to chickmagnet for the new additions to our flock. Hubby wasn't even mad.
I am very excited about our 2 banty cochins, and our silkie.
Thanks to everyone for letting my daughter and niece check out all their crafts and animals.
I am so mad that I forgot to to back and buy the birdseed cakes...aarrgghh!!
Maybe next time.
