chick attached to shell

Ok the chick hatched and the shell is still attached by a cord. She's hopping around dragging the bottom shell. There isn't any blood or anything. I didn't open the bator to keep the humidity up. Should I leave it or take it out to get a closer look. Haven't seen anything like this yet....

I would personally snatch the chick up quickly. If you have a spray bottle, give the eggs a quick mist with some barely warm water.

Ok, the chick and shell are separated and there's still no blood. Yay! It was laying on it's back with feet in the air til I knocked on the bator and she jumped. So far so good.
