One of my chicks hatched and was laying on its back, I checked back a couple of times and it was still on its back so I got in there and it was stuck to the floor of the incubator. I took it out and tried to rinse of the stuff with warm water but I was afraid the baby would get too cold. So I put it back in the incubator then moved it under a heat lamp but it has a large amount of dried stuff and can't fluff up. I don't know if it will be able to stay warm. Should I put it in a warm bath and try to get it off? Of interest, it was a huge egg and had an enormous air sac, I think there was just egg white that didn't get used up and now it is dried on the baby. His little wing was stuck to his body but I got that loose and now he can walk and stand but until I loosened his wing he just kept flipping over to his back. Ugg, this is always so great and so heartbreaking.

This is not a huge issue. Do you still have the incubator still set up, or is the heat lamp putting out enough heat so the temp under it is 95 - 100 (generally, I would not use this much heat, but to fluff up a new born after a quick bath to remove the albumen, it might be a good idea.) I would use warm water, be sure not to get his face wet, give him a quick rinse, then gently towel dry him with a soft wash cloth. Be extra careful around his umbilical stump. After you've towel dried him, put some betadine on his stump, or if you don't have that, a tiny bit of triple antibiotic. I always keep betadine on hand at hatch time for umbilical issues. Then, you can put him under the heat lamp or in the incubator till he's dried off.

Sounds like the yolk might not have absorbed all the way, have you tried putting him back in the incubator?
The yolk absorbed, it just had egg white on it. I ended up putting her in a warm bowl of water and letting her soak until I could get the gunk off. She couldn't fluff up so I didn't think I could leave her like that but I was also afraid a bath might get her cold ad kill her. I put her in the incubator for a bit then under the heat lamp and she is now fine. :)
