Chick born with yolk sac outside

The yolk sac will absorb as the chick dries. Keep in incubator or under heat lamp.

The chick has no sack, so it will not absorb.

Curious to know how the chick is? Did she make it? We have a new chick in the incubator with a pea sized egg yolk in sac still on the outside. Doesn't seem to be absorbing but she looks like she might be strong enough to get through the night.

I think the oP's chick's sack had busted so it couldn't be absorbed.
