My daughter bought two barred rock and four midnight majesty maran pullets. However, this one doesn't quite look exactly like either of those breeds. Its comb is bigger than the rest. It also has white legs with black feathers down the front of its legs. Anyone have a guess? RK said they don't sell roos. I'm guessing there's room for error though I'm hoping it isn't a rooster. Thank you for looking.
Sorry about the missing pics... internet uploading issues!

Midnight Majesty Maran - cockerel

He does look like a French Cuckoo Maran, so he could be that as well. But since he was in the bin with MM's that is most likely his mix.

This is a sex link chick, so the cockerel would have looked just like a barred rock in the chick bin where the pullet would have been all black with a white tummy and no dot on her head.

I imagine you ended up with 5 MM and 1 barred rock.

Actually 3 Midnight Marans and this one plus 2 barred rocks. My daughter kept the barred rocks. The others in this pic are Americana Easter Eggers. This is the questionable chick a few weeks ago. Notice the white spot on top of its head. It also had white under its tail feathers. I'm pretty sure my daughter's barred rocks both had the white dot on their heads as well. They are supposed to be girls.
