Chick breed

Guys this little guy hatched from my breeding pair but none of my chickens are Amercuana breed, I found out that my hen’s mother was a amercuana breed. But for some reason, I’m mostly getting those kind of breeds. I thought I would get mostly same genetics from the parents but for some reason, I’m mostly getting the genetics from the grandma lol. It’s still gorgeous!!!

Genetics can get quite tricky. When you combine mixed chickens with other mixed roosters,, you never know what you end up with.
Not that there is anything wrong with doing such.
I will follow this thread, and look forward to how your chicks develop, and look as adult chickens. And then possibly see how their offspring turn out.
