I tried to get the best picture I could:lol:
 
I've found my production reds and lavender Orpingtons lay almost identical eggs. I can't tell them apart unless I want them come out of the bird lol. I really like Copper Marans for their dark eggs, although my girls like to go broody more than the others. You might look into some pretty Ameraucanas, like wheatens or silvers, for colorful eggs and a different looking chicken, although Easter eggers will be easier to come by. I'm very partial to Buff Orpingtons, myself!
