Chick breeds

I know it’s hard to tell but I’m so new at this, I just hatched these chicks and I’m wondering how you can tell the breed

Where did you get the eggs from? Any chance the are cross breeds?

I got them from my next door neighbor, he has bantam chickens and not sure if you can see but I have a pretty small chick. These are my first hatch and I’m still learning haha

But he has other breeds as well

Most of them look like mixes to me. I think we may have to wait for some more feathers to develop before any conclusive answer can be drawn. You could ask your neighbor if he knows any of the breeds he has to help narrow down the possibilities.
