My 3 day old chick has been oozing poop from his bum for 2 days now. He seems quieter and more subdued than the other chicks, but is eating and drinking. I have been washing his bum to prevent pasting. It is a little sore so I put some neosporin. I have NOT seen a poop come out (but I haven't watched 24/7) but I do see poop oozing out. I try to dab it with a paper towel. I love this little one and I really want to do everything I can. It is on medicated feed (from the beginning) and now there is Cocci meds in the water (as of yesterday morning), as I thought maybe that was the issue. His bum area is a mess and I am afraid that washing it is making it worse because of stress. What are causes of this that I could look into? I read maybe it could be heat, but the others (4 more) are totally fine with no poop issues whatsoever. They appear to be comfortable in the brooder, walking about and chatting normally. I should mention that this is my first chickens EVER so if you think of something that would be obvious to the rest of you, clue me in - I probably don't know! THANK YOU in advance for your help.

I use a soft cloth moistened with vinegar to wipe. The runs can be from many things, sometimes if they're too warm. Do they have room to escape the heat lamp?
I like to give a heat lamp or two and plenty of cool space so they can select their comfort zone.
If it were me, I would stop the meds and give some plain whole fat yogurt along with some unmedicated starter. They have tiny systems that are easily upset.
All the meds you're talking about are for coccidia and if there is no bloody stool you don't currently have that issue. If the medicated feed has amprolium and you read the label it says not to supplement with any other medication as that would be too high of dosage.
The yogurt will give probiotics.
Another thing you can feed is crumbled hard boiled egg yolk.
