So our chicks outgrew our little brooder, so we discussed a little larger “brooder” so we sent our chicks camping.

“Chick specific contraptions” $stupid $cost
“3 person tent” about $30 +\-
****Note this is safely deployed in our garage****
Note: wood chips + chickens= needed air compressor to unclog the screen due to dust. Every other day or so at about 1 month.
We attached a heat lamp from the center light hanger and ran the power cord up the side of the tent pole and secured with zip ties/bread ties (whatever works) We’re also hi-tech rednecks so the “Chick Cam security camera was a fun lazy person/security improvement” Live to see our peeps!
