Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I have 14 2 day old chicks that I hatched. One is walking on her hocks with her toes curled. They are very red and swollen. She keeps flopping on her back and can't get around very well. The other chickens are pecking at her. She is very cute and otherwise looks well formed. No sure what to do.
