Chick Charming--- Anyone figured this out yet?

My chicks are all perfectly tame and I never tried this technique. I guess I got a good batch. Calyx is a tad flighty, maybe I'll try it on her. She's also a BO, maybe its just BO's in general that hate being picked up? anyway, thanks for the advice!

I've seen other people say that, but my two BO's are some of the tamest in my bunch. But I made sure to handle all my chicks at least once a day from day one. I hold them gently but firmly so no one gets hurt, usually tucked up under my chin or cradled against my chest. One of them will even go to sleep in my hands. They're 2 1/2 weeks old now.

You can't sit down in my backyard without Sweetie, a BO, hoping up on your lap. She is a little love...

I know, isn't it funny? It's just so strange because it seems to be an almost uncontrollable response when they are getting ready for bed. It doesn't ALWAYS work, but when it doesn't, it's usually just cuz said chick wasn't in the right mood.
